E. Llwyd Ecclestone, Jr. is an experienced real estate developer based in Palm Beach. Over the course of his career, he has displayed his visionary abilities, developing real estate that ended up yielding great results. One of such projects was the PGA National Resort and Spa. In May 2014, E. Llwyd Ecclestone, Jr. received the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

Since 1986, the Ellis Medals of Honor have been presented to inspiring Americans who are working selflessly to make the nation better. The Ellis Island Honors Society presents the Ellis Medal of Honor. Apart from the Ellis Medals of Honor, the society also presents the Beacon Awards NYC. The Beacon Awards NYC was established in 2019, and it seeks to honor immigrants and children of immigrants who are influential and successful in business, culture, and politics.

The Beacon Awards NYC aims to change the narrative about immigrants by showing that they have been instrumental and essential to the American nation’s overall success. The Ellis Honor Society continues to strive to achieve this aim as the second Beacon Awards NYC has been slated to hold in the fall of 2021.
